Building services engineering firm, equity opening and operational management - Canton of Zurich

An engineering firm specialising in building services, founded in 2012 in the canton of Zurich, is looking for a partner to take over operational management and gradually acquire a stake in the company. The firm offers engineering, planning and consulting services. Its teams cover heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems, fire protection, building physics and energy consulting. For many years, they have worked with building owners, architects, general planners and total contractors, on projects of all sizes and varying complexity. Quality is a cornerstone of the company culture, with a focus on energy-efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sound solutions. The owner wishes to hand over a large part of the day-to-day running of the business. Together with the new partner and two other senior managers, he would form the future management team. The partner would gradually take over tasks, responsibilities and overall leadership. The owner intends to devote more time to projects abroad, which have increased over the past two to three years. The entry timeline and the staged acquisition of shares remain to be defined according to the needs of both parties. An initial stake of 10 to 20% is envisaged, and an option on the majority of the capital can be provided for in the long term. Market-rate remuneration is planned, partly in the form of shares. The profile sought is a full-time, committed business leader with solid management skills and knowledge of at least one of the company's technical fields.
