Restaurant with function room and bowling alley for rent - Canton of Solothurn

This restaurant business is offered for rent near a town in the canton of Solothurn. It is located in a characterful house with a lot of history, with a fine open view over the valley and the Jura range. It is the only restaurant in the village. It remains a popular meeting place for residents, local clubs, groups and customers from across the region. The premises have several areas: a dining room, a small room, a cosy corner, a large function room and a garden terrace. Additional seating is available on the covered balconies. A double skittle alley (kegelbahn) and plenty of parking spaces in front of the building complete the offer. A 5-room flat for the operator is available as an option. The owner family would like to find motivated hosts who are ready to continue running the restaurant and bring their own ideas. They are open to new culinary approaches, as long as they fit the character of the place and the region. Concepts such as a café, a snack bar, takeaway or a highly specialised themed restaurant are less sought after. Operating costs are invoiced directly to the tenant. Other terms will be discussed in a personal meeting and then set out in a contract. Takeover is possible from early 2027 or by agreement. Get in touch to discuss the project.
