A bar with a separate event space is offered for takeover in a well-established nightlife district of the canton of Basel-Stadt. The current business benefits from a base of regular customers and a proven concept, which will be handed over in strict confidence. The premises are on the ground floor and offer around 120 m². They include a bar and a dedicated dance and event area. A courtyard garden and an outdoor area on public ground, under the existing permit, complete the offer. The permitted capacity is 150 people in total. The business is licensed to operate every day of the week, with late-night opening at weekends until the early hours. The layout allows for bar service, DJ nights, concerts, events and private parties. The two spaces can be operated separately or together. A complementary daytime or café concept remains possible, subject to approval by the relevant authorities. The infrastructure includes professional ventilation, soundproofing, sufficient electrical capacity, lighting and sound equipment, as well as bar and event equipment. The existing furniture and fittings are included in the price. The business can be taken over turnkey, with good long-standing relationships with the landlord and the neighbourhood. This is a takeover of the business under the existing lease. The building is not for sale. Detailed documents are provided after a confidentiality agreement has been signed and proof of funds has been presented. Candidates are invited to present their profile, experience and project.
The sale is motivated by family reasons and will be handled with complete discretion.
