A recently renovated mountain café in a panoramic location in the canton of Uri is available for lease to a motivated operator. Takeover is planned for spring 2027, or at a date to be agreed. The indoor area has 12 seats or room for about 20 standing guests. The terrace with a view offers around 80 additional seats. The premises are handed over with a compact, efficient kitchen and a sales area. Depending on footfall, service can be self-service or at the table. The operating season runs from April to October. Opening hours and culinary direction will be defined together with the owner, within the authorised operating framework. Events for groups can complement the offer. This café is part of a project to revitalise a historic former hotel site. It is opening as a first step and will once again become a meeting place for the local population, hikers and visitors. It will remain open during the season, including during future construction work. The ideal candidate is a welcoming person or team who wishes to bring their own ideas. A budget of around CHF 20'000.- should be planned for the small inventory. The rent is in line with the sector average. If this project interests you, please do not hesitate to get in touch to find out more.
